Correcting Uneven Eyebrows

Sometimes, our at home beauty routines don’t go as planned.

For instance, have you ever tried to wax or tweeze your own eyebrows at home, and realize by the end your brows are uneven? It happens to the best of us, but fortunately, there are a lot of ways that we can help you at Beauty Lounge.

When it comes to shaping eyebrows, you may have seen experts recommend that you wax or tweeze your brows starting an equal distance from your nose and an arch that reaches a peak about two-thirds of the way out. However, the truth is everyone’s face shape is different. Therefore, working within those constraints can sometimes be difficult.

The best way to make sure that you are achieving your ideal brow shape is Brow Mapping. Here at Beauty Lounge, we use the string method on each and every one of our clients. This form of Brow Mapping works by using a thread, your bone structure and eyes to find the key points on your face to create a “map” of where the eyebrow should begin, arch and end. Our professionals can use this map as a reference to shape and personalize a beautiful, precise brow based on YOUR bone structure.

If you happen to take too much from your brows at home, it is best to consult a professional once every 3-4 weeks as they are growing for shaping. This allows you to regrow the natural brow, but just a few hairs can make or break the desired look. The specialists at Beauty Lounge will also be able to teach you how to do at-home shaping consistent with your brow map. We call this process Brow Therapy!

Another option to fill in areas that are too sparse is Henna. Henna is a plant-based dye, and it is a non-permanent option for brows that have been over-groomed or just grow sparsely. The dye leaves a stain on the skin, but it will fade away in just a few weeks. This method can be used to build color and density, and we offer it as a service at Beauty Lounge.

Finally, we also offer a range of permanent eyebrow makeup options. As this is a more permanent decision, it is one that you should make with the advice of a trained professional. It will leave your brows looking perfectly shaped and eliminate the need for daily makeup at home. One option is Microblading, where a manual hand tool is used to create tiny, natural-looking hair strokes. Secondly, there are Powder Brows, which gives a more defined look. Lastly, we offer Combo Brows, an incredibly customizable combination of the two processes.

Eyebrow shaping can be tricky, but Beauty Lounge is here to help you achieve your dream brows!
