LIFTS & LAMINATIONS

WHAT IS EYEBROW LAMINATION?

Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a chemical solution, which allows the hairs to move into your desired shape, therefore covering any gaps or stray areas. Eyebrow lamination can be adjusted to personal preference. We can create a full and fluffy brow or a sleek and straight brushed up look, depending on what the client wants.

HOW LONG DOES BROW LAMINATION TAKE?

All brow lamination services include shaping. On its own takes about 1 hour, with tint or stain/henna takes roughly 1 hour 15 min. The treatment can also be performed at the same time as a lash lift for maximum efficiency.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE APPOINTMENT?

We will sit down and discuss your desired look, go over post care procedures, and perform the service. Will walk you through the process

HOW LONG DOES EYEBROW LAMINATION LAST?

Results can last for up to

Typically, 5-8 weeks depending on rate of hair growth and aftercare.

Generally, the eyebrow lamination will begin to grow out with the natural growth cycle of your brows, which for most people begins around five to eight weeks. If you like the effect you will need to repeat the treatment every few months to keep it looking its best.

DOES BROW LAMINATION WORK ON THIN BROWS?

Absolutely eyebrow Lamination can work well on sparse brows as the hair can be directed to cover gaps in brows and make existing hairs appear fuller. It won't make your brows fuller, but it will define them and create the illusion of a fuller brow."

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT & TINT?

A lash lift is a chemical process that is used to change the structure and texture of the lashes. Depending on the size of the shield used, the lashes can be lifted more or less dramatically. A lash lift is essentially a modern version of a lash perm without the perming rods.

AM I GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A LASH LIFT & TINT?

Eyelash Lift & Tint MAY NOT be suitable for clients that:

  • Have very little natural eyelashes or have nothing. The gaps between your lashes will be more noticeable

  • Have pre-existing eye(lid) conditions such as chronic dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis and ocular rosacea

  • Lasik surgery (wait a minimum of 6 months from your procedure)

  • Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows and eyelashes)

  • Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)

  • Who are rough with their lashes

  • Undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (recommend to consult with your physician)

  • Are sensitive or have allergies to dyes (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)

  • Had blepharoplasty surgery (must wait a minimum of 1 year after your surgery)

WILL THE LASH LIFT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

No. Properly trained and skilled professionals ensure proper lash lift procedures are followed.

HOW LONG WILL THE LASH LIFT APPOINTMENT TAKE?

About 40 - 50 minutes depends on how long and coarse the eyelashes are and if your lashes will be tinted.

HOW LONG DO LASH LIFT & TINTS LAST?

Lift lasts 6-8 weeks, tint lasts 4-5 weeks. Wait until 85-100% of your lashes are back to their natural look. No more often than every 6 week.  Results may vary from client to client depending their lash growth cycle. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat.

CAN I WEAR MASCARA ON MY LASH EXTENSIONS?

Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

CAN I USE AN EYELASH CURLER?

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY EYES?

Gently, using mild products. Avoid directly wetting the lashes and hot water/steam on or around lash area 24hrs after the service. Use the provided aftercare oil 2-3 times a week (or more) to keep the hairs nourished. After wetting lashes or sleeping, brush them out with provided spoolie brush.
