Permanent Makeup

Commonly Asked Questions

I Love a Natural Look—Is Subtle Permanent Makeup Possible?

Absolutely! The most requested style of makeup is enhancement of the natural facial features. The objective of these procedures is to raise self esteem, self-confidence, and allow for a more active lifestyle. The natural look also allows you to apply normal cosmetics over your permanent makeup for color variety or for a more dramatic look if desired.

How Will I Look Immediately After the Treatment?

You may experience minor swelling and redness on procedure day. You may resume normal activities immediately except that you will be advised to wear no makeup directly on the treated area for about one week. The amount of redness, healing, and peeling that occurs during the first week is dependent upon on the procedure that is done.

How Should I Prepare for My Procedure?

To ensure the best results, avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, fish oil, coffee, alcohol, and energy drinks for 24 hours before your appointment. Stop using Vitamin A/Retinol, steroids, antibiotics, and lash/brow growth serums at least 4 weeks prior. Avoid tanning or sun exposure 3 days before, and refrain from chemical peels, microneedling, or other intensive skin treatments for 3 weeks beforehand. Arrive with clean, exfoliated skin.

Lash Extensions

Commonly Asked Questions

How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?

A full set of lashes will last 2-3 weeks before getting a fill. Your natural lashes shed on its own so by the 2-3 week mark at least 50% of the lash extensions will shed and would need for a refill to have them full again.

Can I Wear Mascara with Lash Extensions?

It's not recommended to wear mascara with lash extensions, as it can cause buildup and affect retention. If you do choose to apply it, make sure it's oil-free. Keep in mind you may need a lash bath before your next fill to ensure your lashes are properly cleaned.

How Often Do I Need Fills?

To maintain the fullness of your lash extensions, fills are typically needed every 2–3 weeks. A fill appointment usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. During this session, your technician will remove any grown-out extensions and replace them with new ones, keeping your lashes looking fresh, full, and seamless.

Can I Swim, Exercise, or Go to the Spa with Lash Extensions?

We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 48 hours of wear. After that 48-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is not recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.

How Do I Care for My Lash Extensions?

Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours and brush with a clean mascara wand daily.

PRO TIP: Sometimes mornings are a mess! Try washing your lashes with water or with a lash cleanser offered in the salon, then use your finger underneath the extensions to softly brush the top side.

How Long Does a Lash Extension Appointment Take and How Are They Applied?

The application of eyelash extensions typically takes about 2 hours for an initial set. During this time, each individual lash extension is carefully applied to your natural lashes using a medical-grade adhesive

Lash Lifts & Brow Laminations

Commonly Asked Questions

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a treatment that straightens and sets brow hairs in place using a gentle chemical solution. This allows the hairs to be styled into your desired shape, helping to fill in sparse areas and create a more defined look. The results can be tailored to your preference, whether you want a full, fluffy finish or a sleek, brushed-up style.

How Long Does a Brow Lamination Take?

All brow lamination services include shaping. The treatment alone takes about 1 hour. If you choose to add a tint, stain, or henna, the total time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Brow lamination can also be done alongside a lash lift for maximum convenience.

How Long Does Brow Lamination Last?

Brow lamination typically lasts 5 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and how well you follow aftercare instructions. As your natural brows grow, the effect will gradually fade. To maintain the look, we recommend repeating the treatment every couple of months.

Is Brow Lamination Suitable for Thin Brows?

Yes! Brow lamination works well even for sparse or thin brows. It doesn’t add new hair, but it can redirect existing hairs to cover gaps and give the illusion of fuller, more defined brows.

What is a Lash Lift & Tint?

A lash lift is a chemical treatment that alters the shape of your natural lashes, giving them a lifted, curled appearance. It's a modern version of the lash perm, using silicone shields instead of traditional rods for a softer, more natural lift. Adding a tint enhances the color and definition of your lashes for a mascara-like effect.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Lash Lift & Tint?

A lash lift and tint may not be suitable for individuals who:

Have very few or no natural lashes (gaps will be more noticeable)

Have pre-existing eye conditions (e.g. dry eyes, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, ocular rosacea)

Have trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling)

Are undergoing chemotherapy or have had it within the past year (consult your physician)

Are sensitive to dyes or adhesives (a patch test is strongly recommended)

Will a Lash Lift Damage My Lashes?

No—when performed by a properly trained and experienced professional, lash lifts are safe and should not damage your lashes. Following aftercare instructions and avoiding harsh products will help maintain lash health and prolong results.

How Long Does a Lash Lift Appointment Take?

A lash lift typically takes 40 to 50 minutes, depending on the length and texture of your lashes. If you're also getting a tint, it may take slightly longer.

How Long Do Lash Lift & Tints Last?

The lift usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks, while the tint lasts around 4 to 5 weeks. It’s best to wait until 85–100% of your lashes return to their natural state before booking another lift—typically no sooner than every 6 weeks. Results vary based on your natural lash cycle and lifestyle. Factors like swimming, heat, or using harsh products can cause the lift to fade sooner.

Can I Wear Mascara After a Lash Lift & Tint?

Yes, but avoid applying anything to your lashes for the first 24 hours after treatment. Most clients find they don’t need mascara, but if you’d like to enhance your look, choose a non-waterproof formula. Waterproof mascaras can be harsh to remove and may weaken your lift over time.

Can I Use a Lash Curler After a Lash Lift?

No. You won’t need an eyelash curler after a lash lift—the treatment gives a better and longer-lasting curl. Using a curler can actually damage your lashes and undo the lift.

How Should I Wash My Face After a Lash Lift?

Gently wash your face using mild products, and avoid getting your lashes wet or exposing them to steam or heat for at least 24 hours. Use the provided aftercare oil 2–3 times per week (or more if needed) to keep your lashes nourished. After sleeping or showering, use a clean spoolie to brush your lashes back into place.
