July 2020 Newsletter

Hello and Happy July!

I hope you all had a fun and safe holiday weekend. Miranda celebrated back home in Michigan and I celebrated at home, building a changing table. This months newsletter is short, not a whole lot of new news from us here at Beauty Lounge. Just wishing you all a fabulous month! We have been working hard to create videos for each service to add to the website. Check out the lash extension video below!

Interested in booking an initial set of lash extensions?!

While I'm out Just a reminder that I will be out on maternity leave July 18th-beginning of September. The first few weeks I am out Miranda will be managing the phone so if you call or text it will likely be her on the other end. If you need to speak to me specifically you can email and I will be happy to get back to you! If you want to get in for an appointment before I go, I do have a few spots still available. Book online or text me to get on the schedule. Miranda will be working as normal while I am out so lash ladies, no need to worry!

Beauty Lounge's Small Business Spotlight

As soon as I saw the beautiful work of Kimber from Water Bear Photography I knew I wanted to do my maternity shoot with her. After our consultation it was apparent that she is passionate about what she does and truly enjoys her work. She was easy to work with (even while navigating the special circumstances of Covid) and a pleasure to be around. Both of the photoshoots were a blast and I could not be happier with the magical pictures she created. I have included a few of the images below, you guys are getting the first glance at them... I haven't even shown my family yet <3 A little more about Water Bear Photography: Water Bear Photography is based in Gainesville, FL, and specializes in creating unique maternity sessions, underwater photography, boudoir, and adventure elopements. We love creating custom sessions; often involving couture gowns and challenging locations, so that our clients walk away with a one-of-a-kind experience and images! WBP is a proud minority woman-owned business. Kimber Greenwood started Water Bear after the birth of her own son, because she loved the magic of celebrating new life. Her images have been internationally published and awarded; recently, some of her underwater work even went viral and was seen on MSN! Water Bear Photography strives to make each person feel heard, accepted, and beautiful every step of the way.  Our process starts with a sit-down design consultation where we design your shoot from start to finish. Clients are always permitted complimentary use of our closet that boasts over 50 couture gowns and skirts- in all colors, styles, and sizes. We try to have something for everyone! At your shoot, we take our time and don't place time limits on it. We never want people to feel rushed! If it's a water session, you will also have the opportunity to work with one of our two on-staff safety swimmers. We take safety very seriously and want our clients to know that they are in good hands. Between Kimber & Will, they have over 32 years of diving and lifeguarding experience. After the session, Kimber delivers a proofing gallery from which final selections are made. She then hand-edits every image and creates mockups of artwork or albums. Once approved, the artwork is handmade by an artisan and Kimber hand delivers it to your home! Website: FB: IG:
